Personally identifiable information is information that can be linked to a specific individual, such as a name, address, phone number or email address. You do not need to share personally identifiable information to use SAAF's web site.
We gather personally identifiable information when you contribute to SAAF online and when you sign up for the e-newsletter. SAAF does not collect personally identifiable information about people without their permission.

By providing personal identifiable information either in person, through mail, email, over the telephone, or through our web site, you are giving SAAF consent to use this information internally and as stated below.
We may use the contact information that you voluntarily provide to us to contact you when necessary, such as to follow-up on volunteer applications, requests for services, or to answer inquiries. For donors, we will use the contact information you provided for donation and fundraising purposes. Other pieces of information that you voluntarily provide to us through our web site and other means are for internal use only, for purposes of analyzing feedback or processing requests. We may also use this voluntarily supplied contact information to send you information about upcoming events, news, and additional resources that pertain to you.

| Donations and Purchases |
In order to make a purchase or donation through our web site, over the telephone, through mail, or at an event, you must complete a donation form in which you provide contact information (such as name and address) and billing information (such as credit card number and billing address). This information is used for billing purposes, to fill orders and provide receipts for your donations. If there are difficulties processing your transaction, this contact information may be used to get in touch with you. This information will be used to send you materials, items purchased, or a tax receipt (for donations made). Donors’ names may be published unless the donor has requested not to publish their name; we then list those donors as “Anonymous” in publications.

| Credit Card Donations |
Web site donations are processed by Authorized.Net. Authorized.Net is committed to providing safe and secure online transactions.
When you make a donation to us through the Donate Now button on our web site, Authorize.Net shares your personally identifiable information with SAAF so we may acknowledge receipt of your donation for tax purposes and, unless you ask us not to, include you on SAAF's mailing list.

| E-newsletters/Email from SAAF |
The information we gather from subscribers to our e-newsletters (including email addresses) is not shared with other organizations or parties.
All sent email contains a link to unsubscribe. You may subscribe or unsubscribe to any e-newsletter or other email communication from SAAF at any time.
If you correspond with SAAF through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. We provide the same protections for these electronic communications that we employ in the maintenance of information received by mail and telephone. Any email we receive is read only by those individuals who are essential to answering the question(s) presented.
