How do I find out if I'm eligible for housing?
The basic requirements are an HIV+/AIDS diagnosis, at or below 30% median income, homeless or at risk of becoming so, a Pima County resident, a SAAF client, pass a background check, and pass a urinalysis screening. SAAF clients should contact their Case Manager. If you're not a client, contact SAAF and schedule an initial appointment. |
How long does it take to get placed in housing?
Once you are eligible, you'll be placed on the Housing Waiting List. It varies in time, dependent on the number of clients already on the list and the frequency of vacant apartments and houses. |
