Chinese HIV/AIDS experts visit SAAF
SAAF hosted an informational visit for four HIV/AIDS professionals from China on August 21st. The Chinese guests’ visit was organized by the Tucson Council for International Visitors, which is affiliated with the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the Department of State. The visitors, who are involved in HIV/AIDS prevention in China and hold positions in the government and at various universities, were given the chance to hear from representatives of each of SAAF’s departments. Of particular interest to our guest was the agency’s outreach programs to the minority population. The successful visit ended with questions and an exchange of gifts.
