Syphilis Elimination Project (SEP) conducts venue-based outreach in five zip codes within the Tucson area, targeting primarily Latina women and men who have sex with men (MSM) who are at increased risk of getting infected with Syphilis. Outreach, conducted primarily at local bars, restaurants, and community health events, are planned in collaboration with the Pima County Health Department (PCHD). The Syphilis Outreach Specialists accompany PCHD staff when it conducts monthly mobile outreach/testing. 

To date the Syphilis Elimination Project
has reached approximately 600 people.
