NEW to SAAF
Dealing with a positive diagnosis and coming to terms with the challenges of living with HIV/AIDS may not be easy. But you don't have to face those emotions alone. SAAF is here to help you face HIV by helping you get connected to the services that can help you live with the disease. To schedule your initial appointment, please call (520) 628-7223.
Your first step to receiving services starts with meeting with a member of the Peer Counseling Team that will discuss your individual needs with you and verify your eligiblity for our services. Through this one-on-one meeting, we work together to identify how to best serve you. A Peer Counseling Team member will ask questions of you, conduct an assessment, and review your documents to determine your needs.
What can I expect to happen at my first meeting?
Each person enrolled in Peer Counseling or Case Management services receives assistance to faciliate access to those services critical to achieving optimal health and quality of life and receives advocacy assistance to help address barriers to achieving your goals. |
