Overview
SAAF’s Community Education and Resources program offers both volunteer support to all areas of SAAF in addition to providing vital outreach to the community.
Since its earliest beginnings, SAAF has relied on volunteers to provide much-needed client services as well as prevention outreach and that still holds true today. Volunteers are given training, continuing education, and staff support to acquire the skills needed to take on important roles throughout the organization.
SAAF’s Community Education and Resources program provides monthly orientations to new volunteers, as well as quarterly advanced trainings for more specialized volunteer positions.
